orSlowのフラッグシップモデル「105 STANDARD DENIM」から派生し、より細身のシルエットを追求して誕生した5ポケットジーンズです。

1960年代のアメリカ東海岸のアイビーリーガーたちが穿いていたジーンズのスタイルからインスピレーションを受けて企画されたモデルで、「IVY FIT」の名称で親しまれています。

105のスタンダードなストレートフィットに対し、107は腰まわりから脚にかけてすっきりとした、細身のストレートシルエットが特徴です。フロントには、クラシックなボタンフライ仕様の105とは異なり、ジップフライを採用しています。

素材には、1960年代初期のヴィンテージデニムを細かく研究し、特別に開発したムラ糸を使用して、旧式のシャットル織機でゆっくりと織り上げたorSlowオリジナルのセルビッジデニムを使用しています。

糸の太さやムラの出方、織り上げる際のテンションなど、細部にまでこだわって開発したこのデニムは、自然な凹凸と奥行きのある独特の表情が特徴です。

着用と洗濯を繰り返すことで、1960年代初期のヴィンテージデニムを思わせる自然な色落ちやアタリが現れ、orSlowオリジナルデニムならではの経年変化を楽しむことができます。

また、生地だけでなく、使用するミシンや縫い糸、縫製仕様に至るまで細かなこだわりが詰め込まれています。新品の状態では目立たない部分も、長年穿き込むことでステッチ周辺のパッカリングや独特のアタリとして徐々に現れ、ジーンズ全体に豊かな表情を生み出していきます。

Developed as a slimmer evolution of orSlow's flagship 105 Standard Denim, the 107 Ivy Fit is a classic five-pocket jean featuring a refined, slim straight silhouette.

Inspired by the style of Ivy League students on the American East Coast during the 1960s, this model captures the clean, understated character of traditional American collegiate fashion and has become widely known as the "IVY FIT."

While the 105 features a classic regular straight fit, the 107 offers a slimmer, more streamlined silhouette through the hips and legs. Unlike the 105's traditional button fly, the 107 features a convenient zip-fly front.

The fabric is orSlow's original selvedge denim, carefully developed through the study of authentic vintage denim from the early 1960s. Specially designed slub yarns are slowly woven on traditional shuttle looms to recreate the distinctive character of denim from that era.

Every detail of the fabric has been carefully considered, from the thickness and irregularity of the yarns to the weaving tension, creating a naturally uneven surface with a rich, distinctive texture.

With repeated wear and washing, the denim gradually develops beautiful fading, natural wear patterns, and subtle variations in texture, capturing the distinctive aging characteristics of vintage jeans from the early 1960s.

Beyond the fabric itself, particular attention has been given to the sewing machines, stitching threads, and construction techniques used throughout the jeans. Many of these subtle details may not be immediately noticeable when new, but they gradually reveal themselves through years of wear.
