戦時中は物資の使用が制限されていたため、ワークウェアにも簡素化が求められました。ポケットの数やステッチなどの装飾的なディテールが省略され、ボタンには当時さまざまなメーカーで使用されていた月桂樹柄のボタンを採用。仕事着として必要な機能を残しながら、無駄をそぎ落としたシンプルなデザインが特徴です。

素材には、orSlowオリジナルの9ozセルビッジデニムを使用しています。

ヴィンテージデニムを研究して開発したこの生地は、当時のデニムに見られる表面の自然な凹凸や、ざらっとした独特の手触りを再現していることが特徴です。 現代の均一なデニムとは異なり、素朴で味わい深い表情を持っています。

Inspired by vintage American coveralls produced during World War II in the 1940s, this jacket recreates the simplified, functional design characteristic of wartime workwear.

During the war, material shortages and production restrictions led to simplified garment construction. Non-essential details such as additional pockets and decorative stitching were eliminated, while standardized laurel wreath buttons were used by various manufacturers. The result was a clean, practical design that retained only the essential features required for everyday work.

Carefully developed through the study of authentic vintage denim, this fabric recreates the naturally uneven surface and slightly rough, distinctive hand feel of denim from that period.
