Inspired by U.S. Army trousers from the 1940s and the classic uniforms of the United States Military Academy at West Point, these trousers recreate the distinctive character and traditional construction of American Army trousers from that era.
The fabric is orSlow's original high-density twill, woven with two-ply yarns and commonly known as "Weapon Twill."
This distinctive fabric is characterized by its dense, durable construction, subtle sheen, and smooth surface. Compared to conventional chino cloth, it offers a firmer hand feel and a more refined appearance.
The name "Weapon" is said to originate from the fabric's historical association with uniforms worn at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Combining durability with an elegant appearance, this distinctive twill reflects the heritage of traditional U.S. Army clothing.
The design and construction details are also carefully inspired by 1940s U.S. Army trousers and vintage West Point uniforms, faithfully capturing the classic details and functional simplicity of Army tailoring from that period.
The trousers feature a deep rise and a wide, relaxed silhouette, offering generous room through the hips and legs while maintaining a clean, classic appearance.
Inspired by the functional and classic design of 1940s U.S. Army trousers, these pants are crafted from orSlow's original Weapon Twill, carefully developed to recreate the distinctive character of the fabric used during that era. From its unique luster and durability to the authentic construction details, every element reflects orSlow's dedication to faithfully capturing the essence of 1940s U.S. Army trousers.
